On October 6th/7th we’ll be having our Aries Full Moon. A peak time to check in with the question: “how am I feeling?” - in honor of the Aries decree “I am.” You may need to quell the urge to do it all right now, as there are many steps in the process of taking action. Manage any impulses you have that are telling you to do more than can be done at this moment. As Libra Season offers the scales of balance, notice how you’re managing your own emotional needs relative to the emotional needs of others.
Today Venus is conjunct with the South Node (in Virgo). So, an emphasis on relationships will offset the Aries cardinal fire’s urge to focus solely on oneself. The Venus/South Node conjunction nudges you to look at relationships - which ones have veered away and are in need of letting go. Karmic unfolding may no longer require further closure, so don’t get lost rehashing what’s already been resolved. Save that energy for honing your ambition and motivation to move toward what you’re craving.
The Aries full moon spotlight will shine strong. Be sure not to dive into it headlong, remember to keep the ego in check. The shadow side may bring attachment to martyrdom. Your rising mitigation to the woes of the world and prioritizing the needs of others (over your own) contributes to the heaviness you’re feeling. Placing you along the edges of activating the martyr complex. If you don’t prioritize yourself and minimize resentment, the martyr complex will animate you. Balance your own needs first and make additional space for others when you can.
This full moon is also sharing space in Aries with Neptune - you may notice connection to dreams/nightmares and imagination. Chiron is also in Aries, so there will be some perception through the lens of the wounded healer. The Chiron is Aries cohort is large - consisting of most of those born from April 1968 to March 1977. If you fall within this range, use this time to reflect on your wounds and how you assist healing - to yourself and to others. Do you have any other Aries placements? If so, it will give you an additional focal point for further reflection under the Aries full moon.
