This week’s astrology gives us a lot to chew on. Our New Moon on March 18th will be our last Pisces New Moon with the North Node in Pisces. We also have Mars conjunct with a retrograding Mercury in Pisces, which may have brought up some old conflicts. These things may be slowing you do or shifting perspective from the Fire Horse energy we’ve come into since last month’s Lunar New Year.
With the Equinox on Friday, March 20th, we’ll be reminded of that forward motion as we begin the Zodiacal New Year. Mercury will go direct on March 20th as well. Neptune and Saturn are still conjunct at those starting degrees of Aries. Plus, we have Venus and Chiron currently in Aries. So yes, the stronger energetic pull will be toward Aries. Mars will enter Aries on April 10th and Mercury on April 15th. So, if you haven’t been feeling the forward momentum, feel it as you tune into these events.
When you set your intentions for this new moon, consider if you want them to be for this season or for the whole of the next 12-month Zodiac cycle. Your intentions can be meta-level goals that continue to benefit throughout the new year, even if you’d like them to serve specific needs right now, like improving your self-talk and inner criticism.
Consider what tools from your toolbox can use some dusting off. What methodologies and modalities can benefit you? Practices like E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping, journaling, and affirmative thought exercises will help greatly with self-criticism and negative thinking. What will support you in your daily routines as week make this shift into a more dynamic Aries season?
