that was beautiful and very illuminating, James. I miss your voice and your support on the NAAS forum, but you were often there (at critical moments at that!) and it's nice to know I can tap into your wisdom and most generous and tender soul here. thanks for the beauty you put out into the world. we are all the better for it. xoxo
Thank you for the very kind words Norie! I'm really glad we can continue to connect here. I'm sure you're bringing your wisdom, generosity and tenderness to online space like NAAS and elsewhere. Let's continue honoring the most beautiful world our hearts know is possible <3
I have refrained at all from making any comments online about yesterday’s events because I am still processing everything and looking at the ramifications/reactions online. And just encompassing multiple viewpoints in my own mind, I feel in a way overwhelmed and needing to sort things out quietly before I make any comments online. But I can clearly say that I am saddened by the loss. I am more saddened by the state of affairs that led to it.
Yes, Tanya, I totally hear you. In principle, I want to honor that every individual can express themselves, it's overwhelming to see so many people come online so quickly to state one thing or another. It's unprecedented that we take in so much information so quickly, let alone around a tragic event, where hurt and trauma can get triggered and spiral. There must be mindfulness to take the time to process and breathe.
Great to see you’ve found your way over to my Substack, Melody! I hope you find my shares here bring you some form of inspiration.
Seems our online behaviors haven’t been aligned over the past couple of years. As I allude to in my shares here, overall, most social media has felt too divisive for me. Hence why I continue mainly with Substack. My efforts are to take more precision of where I spend my time online.
In this moment, my thoughts go to how it would be great to have a walk, chat, coffee - on our old stomping grounds in Williamsburg, or somewhere in Florida. Lots of love <3

Hey James!
It’s Melody. Did you change your number?
I sent you a few messages and haven’t heard back, so I was wondering if you cancelled me.
If that’s not the case, I’d like to be in touch.
With love,
Melody
