You Are Here
When you get your bearings on a particular map, you make note of where you are. Whether a physical map, or one visualized in your head, it can be helpful to establish a “You Are Here” indicator. When navigating your map, acknowledging “here” can benefit you in your process to get “there.”
Even if there’s a chance you don’t want to be “here” anymore, due to a change of heart or change in direction. Can you find a way to have a healthy resonance with where you are and what’s transpired? You may be done with a particular “here” and you may wish to avoid harping on what’s not wanted. I empathize with that sentiment.
The aim isn’t to drop anchor and mull it over in circles. The suggestion is for you to simply find some peace while you’re still in that place. Even if you’re finding dissatisfaction or you’re wanting to be somewhere else, can you feel through it enough, that start feeling better without making a physical change.
What if making peace with where you’re at is the exact energetic springboard you need in order to move forward to the next place? Can you find some levity in that place? Can you do what you can to bridge your thoughts and emotions before stepping into the next place?
I think many of us are in the midst of a certain kind of “You Are Here” moment. A moment that you’re not the most excited about having. When taking into account external factors that appear to be pushing up against what you want, your overall resonance can take a dip. You wonder “what’s wrong?” This is okay. Some level of acceptance of this current reality is necessary. Just remember to wonder “what’s right?”
Do you have a voice inside your head saying that you shouldn’t accept this? Is this voice correct? What would happen if you do accept that “You Are Here” in that moment you can feel a little better?
It’s important not to mistake your acceptance of a perceived unwanted reality, as the same as condoning it or conceding to it. Your acceptance is with yourself in that moment. You can allow any of the discordant emotions come to surface and be felt. Energetically, you allow the discordance somewhere to go. With this energetic movement you can then redirect thoughts toward what you desire. Can you notice what arises from the contrasting experiences you’ve just had?
Life is a perpetual series of “You Are Here” moments. You have access to your toolkit every time, whether you choose to access it or not. Sometimes you don’t want to engage with the tools. Eventually you get back in touch with them. Honor your flow. Always know, you will get there. Every “here” was once a “there” - you’ve accomplished so much and continue on and on and on.
