Thanks, James. Curious what habits you've changed or acquired successfully with this approach?

I'll give some thoughts to what might be needing change for myself this spring.

I've found routine/rhythm to be critical.

And...sleep!!

You're welcome Erin! Thanks for asking! I find this approach most helpful with behaviors that I've done before (or was doing sporadically) and heed these suggestions for making them daily. The ones I've been working on most recently are added a daily stretching routine and mindfulness/meditation session each day.

These are things I have built up to doing consistently for 15-20 min, but it's been helpful not to fall "off-track" if I do it for a shorter amount of time each day. For the stretching routine, when I started I didn't initially aim for as long as 15-20 - 2 minutes could be fine! - I wanted to establish the habit first. For the mindfulness session, I "bundled" that habit "down-stream" from my daily behavior of walking the dog. And it's been working like a charm!
