This week we’re having a Venus/Saturn opposition. We have Venus hovering around Virgo 29° and Saturn back in Pisces due to its. We have this familiar Virgo/Pisces dynamic again - due to our recent Virgo 29° lunar eclipse, in addition to the North and South nodes being Pisces/Virgo. Now there’s emphasis on relationships (Venus) and consequences (Saturn). What’s working well within your relationships? What’s not working? Where do you feel cut-off or distant? Are you feeling aligned with how you’re wanting to engage in your relationships?
It’s important not to get caught in a trap that relationships are meant to be bound with unconditional love. In addition to consequence, Saturn reminds how we’re meant to acknowledge that we live in a conditional world. Sure, we can maintain the ethos and “vibe” of unconditional love, but we must face the reality that actual conditions have effects on relationships. This is a vital component of relational/social health.
You can use this time to look at your boundaries and levels of intimacy. Shadow work for this Venusian component occurs with some deeper introspection. Time for addressing if you’re over-stepping boundaries (enmeshment or co-dependence) or being too conservative with boundaries (lack of trust or subdued vitality). Examining fear of commitment or eagerness to over-commit. How to align with healthy boundaries, creating mutual attraction for principle-based living in alignment.
We also have Pluto going direct. After several months of Pluto in retrograde (since May!) - we finally have Pluto changing direction. We haven’t fully gotten much footing into the Pluto in Aquarius phase, but we’re gradually getting there.
