We have Uranus and Venus both leaving Taurus and entering Gemini. Giving us reminders of moving from fixed earth to mutable air. Venus transits through signs relatively quickly, whereas Uranus spends around 7-8 yrs in each sign. After hanging out in Taurus since May of 2018, Uranus’s new residency in Gemini will be noticeable.
We can retrospectively look at how our Uranian energy showed up for that time period in Taurus. Uranus' eclectic curiosity may have been subdued, and you may have noticed this muted effect personally. With the influence of Taurian traits related to fixed earth like routineness, habits, and security. Perhaps experiencing the stricter structures that Uranus would prefer not have binding. Curiosity and exploration will open up now that it enters Gemini.
Going from earth to air, this can be an exercise of shifting perspective. Moving from the content within the structures to adding contextual layers. Moving from the specific to broader overviews. Moving from body-oriented sensory input to expanded sensory input of the mind. This isn’t to say get rid of these earthy orientations. Just that there will be more leaning to entertaining cognitive and social orientations.
Entering on Monday July 7, Uranus will remain in Gemini until May 2033. So, yes, we’ll have some time to sink into this phase. What might this phase look like for you? Regarding our four outermost planets, we'll have Uranus and Pluto siding in air signs (Gemini and Aquarius, respectively) and Saturn and Neptune in the fire sign Aries. The rest of 2025 will be our rehearsal of what's to come within that collective setting.
