Solocast: Saturn in Aries

Can the Task Master Put Dreams in Motion?

For just over 2 years Saturn was in Pisces, which may have felt like an odd placement. Later this week, Saturn will enter Aries, and we’ll most likely feel the shift. Saturn will be joining Neptune, who made the transit to Aries at the end of March. So, after a very gooey Piscean start to 2025 - lasting months! - we now have some outer-planet Aries energy to contend with.

Check out your birth chart placements for Saturn and Neptune, are they in any of the cardinal signs? (Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn?) If so, this current transit for Saturn into Aries may affect you more. Are you having a Saturn Return? If you're in any of these age ranges: 28-30 or 57-59 or 85-87 yrs old, then some Saturn exploration will be very revealing for you.

Don’t know what to think of Saturn? Well, let's try to keep a positive framing for our planetary task master. While Saturnian energy may bring some resistance or delay, blocks and obstacles - remember you'll move through them. The rules and regulations may feel like hindrances, but they also guide you to narrow your focus and do what needs to get done. The contracting component of Saturn can strengthen you and let you focus on what needs resolve.

With the upcoming Saturn conjunction with Neptune, let's see this as an optimistic pairing. See Saturn as setting up the structure of your daily tasks to allow for the space for you to manifest what you've been dreaming about. Rather than seeing the daily grind as something that quashes your imagination and what you'd like to bring to life. There's room for adulting responsibilities AND creativity & fun!

In addition, Chiron has been in Aries since 2019, so this may be a contributing factor for you too. I shared about Chiron in relation to Saturn and goal setting and getting things done (more about this here). Even with all of this Aries energy, things may not be full speed ahead. There will be forward momentum, but some of it will be gradual, while you find bursts of productivity along with it. Keeping in mind slow and steady still wins the race, while there's space for interval sprints to occur!
