Impromptu check-in during this first full day of spring in my part of the world. I just completed a 3.5 day water cleanse and I'm feeling good. 90 hours of water cleansing is giving me a healthy reset for the start of the new year! I love having cleanses be a regular thing on the calendar. This week was perfect timing for it.
This also coincides with my Covid retrospective. 5 years ago, I was sick for 7 days, during this same week in March. Remembering how I considered that sickness to prompt a cleansing and a reset for me. So interesting how sometimes we go through days when we're not eating food due to being sick. Feels much more empowering to do so when you're feeling well, choosing to fast or cleanse at your own volition.
I’m curious about how others are doing their cleanses. What kind of cleanse do you like to do? How long feels right for you? What times during the year do you like to cleanse?
